Top 5 Supplements that WORK!

So as horse owners we know all about what it cost to feed a horse. We might as well just take cash from the ATM and feed that to our horse(s). Although I cant help you with ways to save money on the price of hay, I have found five supplements that not only work for my horse and other horses, but cover popular areas of concern: hoof/mane/tail, joint, digestion,weight maintance, and all-around health supplements.

So in that order, the first supplement that has every barrel racer and reiner obessed with is Bio Mane. At first I was skeptical about it since I heard so many good things I thought "This cant work", but after seeing results from other girls at my barn I went and suscribed to the Bio Mane Club. You get a free starter kit ($35 value) and free shipping (which is the way to go). Within two weeks, I saw not only a visual diffence in my horses coat but also a physical. The next supplement is Trifecta by Horse Guard. Ive never have had my own personal horse on it but a colt I trained for showmanship and halter was on this. I would recommend this product for any horse undergoing anytype of stress. Whether it be training, showing, or trailering long distance. I noticed his more disre to work since he was better able to digest all of his nutrients he needed. Not only that, but it has joint, and hoof/hair support as well. The next supplement is for horses that arent necesarily the easiest keeper or for those who look at treats and gain 10 pounds, unforunatly ive had to deal with both, but this supplement ive found has worked on two horses that I leased and owned. Both horses were hard to keep weight on, regardless of how often thier teeth were floated ect.. Start to Finish Cool Calories not only gave them the extra fat and amino acids in their diet, but it never made them up the wall crazy either. So our last supplement is basically for show horses that need a little TLC. I love having show horses on this during show season. They are just shinier, have a little bit more energy to last through a long show day and have a better attiude throughout the day. Purina Amplify is a high fat supplement for high shine condtioning of the coat, and energy for long days (but it wont make them hot).
